Early detection, timely intervention

My two seniors resist to undertake health check because they are worried it would affect their daily life and bring heavy financial burden to the family if any problems are detected. Nowadays, there are a lot of medical checkup plans offered on the market, how can I persuade and help them choose the appropriate package to safeguard their health?  

The main purpose of health check is to detect diseases at an early stage, control diseases and reduce complications. Prevention is better than cure, tell your seniors having good health is responsible to their family.


In general, health check includes health risk assessments for the elderly by medical staff to find out whether the elderly have health risk factors, such as improper diet, smoking habits, etc., or functional impairments like hearing loss, visual problems, etc., to enable doctors provide appropriate medical advice and treatments. 


The number of inspection items varies from person to person, and the doctor will decide on an individual inspection plan according to each person's different circumstances, such as family history, medical history, risk factors and physical examination results.
